Stuart Anderson leads the INDEED project in the School of Informatics at
the University of Edinburgh. He is interested in the dependability of computer-based
systems, specifically on: the use of formal techniques to capture requirements
for, structure and verify critical systems and interdisciplinary studies of
computer-based systems taking social and organisational aspects into account.
He was the Edinburgh Director of the Dependability Interdisciplinary Research
Collaboration, a six year long-term project funded by the UK EPSRC and directs
projects on service-oriented architecture, configuration management of web
services and a range of studies of socio-technical systems in healthcare.
