Interdisciplinary Design and Evaluation of Dependability

Who we are

InDeED involves researchers with an interest in dependable socio-technical systems from the Universities of York, St Andrews, Edinburgh and City University London. InDeED is truly a multi-disciplinary project, bringing together researchers with backgrounds in computer science, maths, psychology, sociology and business.

What we are doing

InDeED is a long term, four year research project that started in July 2006. The aims of InDeED are to develop knowledge, methods and tools that contribute to the understanding of socio-technical system dependability, and that support developers of dependable systems. The project follows on from DIRC, which made remarkable progress across a number of areas. If you wish to know more about the work of DIRC check the links section.
